I realized today that I never blogged about the most exciting thing that happened this summer! Kenzie got baptized on the 4th of July in Wyoming in the Sweet Water River. The Sweet Water River is a River that the Saints had to cross several time to get to Salt Lake. When the Martin and Willie Handcart companies got there, they were freezing, usually with ice floating in them. It was really special because that is the area where my parents had served their mission, and we were there as part of a family reunion, so lots of family were able to be there- Kenzie was baptized in a dress that my mom made for her, and I made the dress she wore afterward. The water was freezing, and it was a little overcast that day, but the sun came out during her actual baptism, and she came out of the water and looked so happy and so grown-up! These pictures are totally out of order-but her are a few pictures of that day.
